Management Das CHE Centrum für Hochschulentwicklung wird von Frank Ziegele geleitet. Seit 2008 ist er Geschäftsführer der gemeinnützigen Organisation und prägte bis 2021 gemeinsam mit Jörg Dräger die strategische Entwicklung des CHE. Unterstützt wird Frank Ziegele von Heike Hepermann und Ulrich Müller, die seit 2023 als Prokurist*innen im CHE tätig sind. Heike Hepermann, Diplom-Betriebswirtin und systemische Beraterin, verantwortet die Bereiche Controlling, Finanzen und Vertragswesen. Ulrich Müller leitet den Bereich Politische Analysen und ist ebenfalls Mitglied der Geschäftsleitung. Gemeinsam arbeiten sie daran, innovative Impulse für die Weiterentwicklung des Hochschulwesens zu setzen. Zum erweiterten Führungskreis des CHE zählen außerdem Sonja Berghoff (Leiterin nationale Rankings), Gero Federkeil (Leiter internationale Projekte) sowie Sigrun Nickel (Leiterin Hochschulforschung). The Advisory Board consists of two representatives of the shareholders as well as national and international personalities with expertise in the fields of higher education and education policy, university management or corporate management. CHE’s shareholders are the Bertelsmann Stiftung and the German Rectors’ Conference (HRK). The members of the advisory board are appointed by the shareholders’ meeting and each serve for two years. Their activities include advising the CHE management on strategic issues, helping to shape the direction of the CHE and ensuring that its work meets the current and future challenges in the higher education and training sector. Through regular dialogue within the Advisory Board, the committee contributes impulses and suggestions to further strengthen the quality and relevance of CHE’s work.
